Don’t let the world upset you. Do these things to gain control.

Have you seen a duck swimming in the water?
From the outside, it feels like everything is calm and relaxed. But once you see the bottom of the water, you witness intense action. The duck is paddling furiously to stay on top. But since you’re too busy enjoying the view, you ignore what is happening behind the scene.
In life, you’ll get some callous times, and in those times, you have the choice to sit back, be scared, or go through that storm. But to fight the storm you need to calm yourself first, and these tips will help you calm your mind and body.
1. Go for a walk
As simple as it sounds, a simple walk in the park can calm your muscles.
When you walk and see the world around you, your perspective of life changes, and you can see the beauty that lies beyond yourself. And when this happens, you forget your worries for a while.
2. Indulge yourself in whatever you’re doing
Part of our problem is not indulging in the present world. We’re too busy planning, thinking, and regretting mistakes from our past that we forget to enjoy the present moment.
Whatever you’re doing right now, stop and indulge in the feeling. Focus on what you’re doing. Be mindful of your life. Mindfulness gives you control over the situation and helps you abandon the feeling of regret.
3. Sip in a Coffee
My favorite activity when I feel upset is to drink a cup of coffee. Don’t just drink it; feel every sip of the coffee.
4. Educate yourself
Fear comes from not knowing what you’re up against. The more you educate yourself on the matter, the less fearful you’ll become.
When you feel like life seems harsh, go ahead and read some books regarding the purpose of life. Take time out to understand your role in the world and get busy doing it.
